A single perfect coastal day, shaped the way we would plan it
The hour-by-hour outline of a resort day we would craft for ourselves on a Tuesday in late June. Adapt as you wish.
07:00 · Quiet swim
The pool sits empty and towel service has not begun. A coffee cart by the entrance offers single-origin filter coffee, no menu and no line. This is the finest half hour of the day.
08:30 · Terrace breakfast
Eggs made to order, pastries from the kitchen oven, a modest plate of seasonal fruit. We do not favour breakfast buffets. We favour plates carried by waiters who have looked after the same families for ten years.
10:00 · Spa or sea
Either choice works. The spa hammam is bright and still in the morning. The sea is calmest before midday. Most guests pick one and wish they had done both; the uncommon guest manages both.
13:30 · Long lunch
Three hours at the lagoon bistro, with a bottle of light white and a plate of grilled fish you did not expect to want. No phones, no hurry. This is the meal you will recall.
18:00 · Golden hour terrace
Aperitif on the upper deck. The bar team will know your name by the second day. The house negroni rests on a vermouth we produce on-site; it is the most unexpected pour on the property.
21:00 · Tasting menu
Eight courses, two hours, one wine pairing. We have spent years refining this evening. We hope it rewards the journey.
23:30 · A short hour at the table
Or an unhurried walk back to the suite. Either path: tomorrow begins at 07:00 with a swim, and that rhythm is the whole idea.
